LONG TIME NO SEE

Wow! It has been ages since I wrote on this blog. It is now currently 2008 and I haven't been on this since 2006. Well here is an update on me for old times sake. Last year, was the best year of my life. 18th birthdays to go to, year 12 retreat, formal, graduation, muck up day and graduation assembly were the highlights for sure and for school captaincy I believed that I could have done an even better job of it. I wish that I could have stood up for myself instead of being ruled by others, that I wasn't seen as someone useless, that I wasn't dumb and stupid, that I could be a leader not a follower and that I wasn't shy. I miss last year so badly. This year, I am currently trying to look for a job since there are no mid year courses that I even like or are in the city, I have gained weight and wish to lose it and saving money from whatever I can get. I have no independence.

One Week Later

Well guess what I got... I am the new School Captain! I am so overwhelmed! Other than this I recieve the Mary Mackillop Award as well as a Scholarship from ADFA! I could have never expected this. But yet on the other side I feel like a fraud as if I don't belong here since i am not a person who is out there in the school community. I wish I was! I feel like I went up for Captain for the wrong reasons like I just wanted to be noticed. I am hoping to change my perception. My family have been really proud of me but since last week on monday things have changed like my sister keeps hurting my feelings and used my role as captain against me. I wish that life was back to normal with my dad here. I really needed to get this off of my chest.

.::: [ 1 day left until Judgement Day ] :::.

Wow! i can't believe that there is only one day left until I find out who is going to become School Captain! Whoever gets it I hope they got it for the right reasons!!! It would be awesome if I get an award plus this! But at least I get something! My best friend is coming to the awards night. She is a very special person to me and I am honoured to have known her! I pray that things go well for me tomorrow and that if I don't get it, life will still continue the way that it was long ago!

YAY! MERRIJIG

Yesterday Afternoon I finally got a letter from school that says my family and I are invited to Merrijig A.K.A awards night! This is the night were the school leadership roles are announced! I am excited, nervous and scared. Excited if I recieve school captain, nervous if don't get it at all but got something else and scared that if I get it what is going to happen to all the other students who tried. Anyway what ever happens, happens! 2 more days until year 11 is over! Thank god for that!!!

I have one more week until I find out whether I got school captain or not!
I am kind of nervious but also a little happy! The people against me are amazing and each one of them deserve. But unfortunately there is only going to be 3 positions. If I get I will be happy and if I don't I will be a little sad but also happy for whoever got it. On the bright side I only have 4 days of school left! Not really since I have an excursion tomorrow and a day off on Tuesday so really I just have 2 days of school. I have really great friends who have supported me through everything and my family as well! Especially my sister who I thank for all that she has taught me as well as gotten me through! Well thats all I have to say for my first blog!!!
